About Lesley
Lesley is a mature and experienced
registered psychologist of 18 years standing. She is also a
qualified and experienced registered nurse, nurse educator and
manager. She has augmented her professional education with senior
management training and now combines all of these disciplines
with her practice in psychology.
Over the years, Lesley has continued to develop professionally
and to apply all of her training and experience in health,
teaching and psychology to a range of disciplines.
As a psychologist, she has trained in psychotherapy,
hypnotherapy and counselling. She also trained as a meditation
teacher and leader with Dr Ian Gawler.
She has more than 30 years experience in the traditional
health field, in hospitals, the community, industry and in
teaching nursing. She has also lectured in Nursing within
hospitals and university programmes.
Whilst employed in the corporate sector she gained experience
in general management, personnel management, consulting, group
facilitation and counselling. She has also presided over the
Councils of Tertiary and other Educational Institutions and
served on Boards.
She is married and she has raised two sons.
These days, Lesley offers her wide experience to her clients
in private practice working individually and with groups. In this
work her focus is on assisting each client to:
- develop his or her own most effective approach to
maintaining health and wellbeing;
- develop the understanding and the skills which enable
that person to better manage his or her own life and
health;
- release the power of the lovingness and hope which is
available within his or her life and
- honor his or her own inner wisdom.
Lesley has been studying the constellation work of Bert
Hellinger since being introduced to it in 1997. Ever since that
time, as a part of her whole person and humanistic approach to
therapy, she has been using the "Orders of Love" with
her private clients. She has taken every opportunity to train
with visiting trainers and to network with her Australian
colleagues to develop her capacity to make Constellation work
available in Australia and New Zealand. In 1998 she visited
London to learn more about the work and in 2001 she travelled to
Germany to undertake the first International Intensive training
programme and attended the International Congress for Family and
Human Systems Constellations. The training was conducted by Bert
Hellinger, Hunter Beaumont and other experienced and professional
pioneers of the work.
She has added the benefits of this approach by working with
"Family Systems as Fields of Wisdom". She is now
offering this powerful constellation work to a wider population
and is prepared to travel in order to provide people with the
opportunity to experience what makes it possible to release the
"Flow of Love in Relationships.
