INTRODUCTION Psychologist Lesley Baragwanath offers a wide range of psychological services in Centres across Melbourne. She accepts doctor referrals and currently consults at medical clinics and private rooms in North Carlton, North Mitcham and Sunbury. Lesley believes that good health includes a state of both physical and mental well-being. By focusing on a Whole Person approach to health, relationships and personal growth she assists patients to overcome difficulties, develop self-management skills, increase self-esteem and enhance their experience of fulfilment and well-being. In addition to consulting on an individual basis Lesley now offers Family Constellation Worshops which address transgenerational and system entanglements. These workshops are based upon the work of Philosopher and Family Therapist Bert Hellinger. SERVICES A full range of counselling and psychotherapeutic services are offered together with meditation and relaxation training. A flexible approach is taken and client consent is sought for each step which is taken. When working with a client, whatever the need is that emerges, that need will be attended to. REFERRALS You do not need a doctor to refer you, nor is a referral required in order for you to claim a rebate. Referrals do come from doctors, from family law and other lawyers, from other professionals and from friends and relatives or you yourself may make contact directly. Simply telephone to make an appointment, or if you wish, to discuss your requirements prior to making an appointment. FEES AND REBATES Consultations are on a fee for service basis. Fees charged are within the APS (Australian Psychological Society) recommended fees. A concession is offered for patients who are on a restricted income and this can be negotiated at your initial consultation or by telephone before your appointment. Registered psychologists fees qualify for rebates from private health funds. Direct billing is offered for clients covered by the Traffic Accident Commission (TAC), Workcover or Victims Referral and Assistance Services.
